The same ride pages, on an Apple Watch
CycleBridge on Apple Watch does what the Garmin app does: it records the ride itself, reads wrist heart rate, and streams a live snapshot to the phone once a second. The pages are the same ones, laid out for a rectangular screen instead of a round one.
What it shows
- A hero page whose big number is whichever metric you pick
- A dense page with speed, distance, heart rate, average, elevation and climb together
- Heart rate zones, with a bar per zone scaled by the time you spent in it
- Per-kilometre splits: the one in progress, over the last three finished
The ride is saved as a standard cycling workout in Apple Health, exactly as one recorded by Apple’s own Workout app would be — so it lands in Fitness, closes your rings, and carries your route if the watch was the one tracking it.
Because the watch saves that workout itself, the phone deliberately does not save a second copy. It is the same rule Garmin mode follows, where Garmin Connect holds the one real record.
Unlike the Garmin app, settings live on the watch and apply immediately. Connect IQ forces its settings into Garmin Connect Mobile and fixes the page count when the app starts; watchOS has neither restriction.
