The climb profile, on your wrist
The same question the phone answers, answered without reaching for it: is this climb nearly over, and how much have I already done today?
What it shows
- A plotted profile of the last 30 minutes
- A dot marking where you are now on the line
- Total elevation gained
- Current elevation
A watch has far less memory than a phone, so the profile is sampled every ten seconds rather than every second — 180 readings covering half an hour, which is bounded no matter how long the ride runs.
Switched off by default; turn it on in the app’s settings in Garmin Connect Mobile, and it appears the next time the app starts.
