Garmin’s running line, and the watch this app was written on: every coordinate in the watch app is authored for the Forerunner 955’s screen and scaled from there to the rest of the list.

The Forerunner 955 is the reference device in every sense. Its 260-pixel round screen is the design space the layout is drawn in, and it is the first product in the app’s manifest, so the build and the CI test suite target it.
The line spans two display types — the transflective screens of the 255, 945 LTE and 955 and the AMOLED screens of the 165, 265, 570, 965 and 970 — and the app does not care which: it reads the screen width once at start-up and scales, and picks the hero digit font by measuring what fits rather than assuming a size.
Every Forerunner here has five buttons, so the ride pages step with UP and DOWN, and a ride starts, pauses and resumes on START. The AMOLED models also take a swipe, which the app treats the same as a button press.
